Facebook Splashes Out On FriendFeed

FriendFeed, the Silicon Valley startup founded two years ago by four former Google employees, is still small – it just employs 12 people. With more than a million users, it allows people interact with a variety of websites from one place, accessing sites like Facebook, Digg, YouTube, and more. Its focus on short messages has led some to believe it could be a rival to Twitter.
